We were recently told that this cool cart is called a "baby coop" in the south. Wired to keep the critters out when the baby was outdoors. Doubtful you would place a baby in it today, but the painted wood frame and aluminum aluminum wire sides look cool for storing other things!
There is an adjustable "shelf" that would have held the mattress. The sides fold down and out and the whole thing folds up. But the best part is the big, industrial wheels. This would make a charming planter or storage bin for beach towels or toys. Or put the "shelf" at the highest setting, stack it with bottles and use it as a bar cart!
